OPR Resident Artists Program

Acting classes for singers

 

Opera Pomme Rouge’s Resident Artists Program was created in 2015 for supporting NY based opera artists to solidify their professional career.  The Opera Pomme Rouge’s Resident Artist Program offers a full season of education program for talented artists beginning their professional careers from fall through May.

A full scholarship (value of 2000 per person) will be awarded to 3 singers, 1 pianist and 1 assistant stage director each year.

 

Resident Artists receive weekly-based private and ensemble lessons and  performance opportunities at concerts, semi-staged performance, donor functions, and educational events, like a master class by Daniel Sarge who is based in Vienna and a private coach of Anna Netrebko and/or Neils Muus who is a Professor of Opera Department at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna. www.nielsmuus.com

For weekly-based private and ensemble lessons will be focused for character analysis, libretto study, stage movement, theater technique, acting for singers. The sessions are given by an internationally experienced Director, Anna Etsuko Tsuri (www.annaetsukotsuri.com) in Midtown, Manhattan, NY

Performance date:

10/29, 11/5: Performance of Meistersinger at the Queens Library

12/16: Semi-staged holiday concert of RAP at the Opera America Center NYC  (details subject to change.)

5/20: Semi-staged mini concert at the Opera America Center NYC (details subject to change.)
