Opera Pomme Rouge is thrilled to announce an international collaboration with Munich’s Resi-Orchester. In February 2026, we will present Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf as an overseas project in Munich, Germany.

For this production, we are seeking:

• A puppet designer/maker

• A costume designer

• An assistant director

 

All rehearsals will take place in Munich, Germany. Accommodation during the production period will be provided. Travel expenses will be partially subsidized through grant funding (with a modest personal contribution required).

Our current concept for the puppets envisions very simple, shadow-theatre-style figures: black cut-out silhouettes that create a strong visual impact through shape and movement. However, we are very open to your creativity. If you have other ideas, we would be delighted to hear about them during the interview process.

Schedule (Germany)

• Stage rehearsals: January 31 – February 7, 2026

• Premiere: February 8, 2026

• It is highly desirable that team members are able to be in Germany for this entire period.
