Children Opera Camp Spring 2013

Hansel and Gretel for Age 3 to 5. 

 

What a treat! During A week-long workshop, the children learned songs from the german master piece, Opera Hansel and Gretel composed by Humperdinck.  They also got to experience playing the violin, flute, piano, and ukulele, make stage sets-witch's cookie house, paper ginger breads, their own costumes, learn about music notes, compositions, the Grimm's brothers faily, dance and stage movements. For the conclusion, they performed Opera Hansel and Gretel front of the audience!
