Acting Workshop

by Anna Etsuko Tsuri

Theme: Developing acting skills by imagining a detailed scene and character through practical training in French-style pantomime technique

At Opera Pomme Rouge we continue to offer our Young (Residence) Artist Program—Opera Lab—online this year. We are here to support emerging artists!

As June Special, we are offering an online acting workshop, taught by Anna Etsuko Tsuri, world-experienced opera stage director. Her work experience includes the Vienna State Opera, Bregenz Festival and Bavarian State Opera. As part of her acting career, she was a musical actor in Japan and she studied pantomime at the Théâtre du Soleil Paris. The theme of this workshop is “Developing acting skills by imagining a detailed scene and character through practical training in French-style pantomime technique". It is for opera singers and voice students, ab to age of 13. It will be a very small group of maximum 5 participants.

It should be a very fun online workshop and we will be connecting with participants all over the world to do physical activity and promote emotional wellness! The languages will be English, German and/or Japanese. We will decide based on the participants' needs.

The participation fee is free for everyone, but we have a limit of 5 participants. Please apply via the link below. If you are selected as a participant, you will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link no later than 24 hours before the event starts. Apply here!

Please dress comfortably and have a bottle of water nearby. You are required to turn on your camera during the workshop.
