家にいる時間がどうしても長くなってしまう今日この頃、皆様お元気でお過ごしでしょうか？オペラポムルージュは、外出規制の中でも自宅で活動中！昨年大好評だったオペラ、アンネフランクの日記の映像編集がついに終わりました！そんな記念すべき映像初演を皆さまとお祝いしたい！そして、少しでも、お客様を元気にしたい、それから、現在、自粛の影響で大変な生活の苦労をしている、若き芸術家も支援したい、ということで、急ではありますがオンラインイベントを立ち上げます。1時間のオペラ上演の後は、トークイベントも開催いたします。現在、アンネフランクに関わっていたアーティストはニューヨークだけでなく、タイ、日本、ドイツ、オーストリアと、世界中に散らばっておりますが、このイベントになんと、大集結いたします。アーティストから直接公演秘話が聞けるチャンスです！全てzoomで行いますので、ご自宅から、気軽に参加していただけます。参加費は無料です。任意の寄付をいただけましたら大変に幸いです。今回の寄付の売り上げは全額、今困窮している経済状況にあるオペラポムルージュのアーティストへ奨学金として配布する予定です。参加にはあらかじめ予約が必要です。

Biographie
Anna Etsuko Tsuri (Director):
Anna Etsuko Tsuri is an internationally experienced opera stage director. Anna has directed numerous opera projects, including Cenerentola and Erwartung in Vienna, La finta Giardiniera in Tokyo, Song Books, in Riga. Her US debut was Noli Me Tangere at Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Her other credit encompass 100 productions at opera houses such as the Metropolitan Opera, The Washington National Opera, The Vienna State Opera, Komische Opera Berlin, Théâtre du Soleil à Paris, She has been broadcasted on NHK, Japan's national TV network, World Flowers Network JFN, and interviewed in Diana, Latvia's largest newspaper, Opera Magazine Opera Now in UK among others. She is a founder of Opera Pomme Rouge. She works at the Bayerische State Opera since 2019. www.annaetsukotsuri.com
Ishmael Wallace (Music Director):
Ishmael is a Composer, Pianist, Singer, and Teacher, educated at the Curtis Institute of Music and Mannes College. He is co-director of What a Neighborhood!, a series of concerts and workshops in Morningside Heights, and pianist of the Orfeo Duo. As pianist of the Orfeo Duo, he has performed across the Americas and recorded extensively. As a baritone, he gives art song recitals, combining in one person the roles of singer and accompanist. Mr. Wallace’s most recent opera, The Mountain and the Valley, was premiered by Opera Pomme Rouge and What a Neighborhood! in November, 2016. Mr. Wallace is a vocal coach who has worked with some of New York City’s best younger singers, and been Music Director for many opera productions.
Kate Fruchterman (Anne: Soprano):
Soprano Kate Fruchterman will make her role debut of Frid’s Anne Frank with Opera Pomme Rouge this fall. Ms. Fruchterman was praised for her “flawless vocal performance” for her Marzelline (Fidelio) debut at West Bay Opera. Through the Amber Capital Scholarship from the Opera Foundation, she sang at the Teatro Regio di Torino for the 2015-16 season, appearing as Sacerdotessa (Aida), Second Woman (Dido and Aeneas), and Mother (Pollicino), among others. Recent roles include Corinna (Il Viaggio a Reims), Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare), and Pamina (Die Zauberflote). Ms. Fruchterman holds a Master of Music from Mannes College and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Southern California. www.katefruchterman.com
Yuriko Katori (Set Design):
“Yuriko Katori is a visual artist working in Brooklyn, NY. She received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in NY and her BA in Literature from Waseda University in Tokyo. Her recent exhibitions include Neurotitan in Berlin, Hankyu Umeda gallery in Osaka, Curate NYC 2013, and The Pyramida Centre for Contemporary Art in Israel. She has been awarded residencies from the Vermont Studio Center, the Wassaic Project and the ChaNorth.
She frequently makes artist books/graphic novels and regularly contributes her work to Trapper Keeper by Mega press.
